Startrek II - Resurrection

StarTrek II - Resurrection - Part 2, used models
Part 1, general information

Here are the objects (mainly ships) which we used in that project.
The more well known models are listed first, followd by the not so well known down to self created models

The USS Enterprise D

This should be one of the most well known models. It wasn't modeled by us because this would've been to time consuming, furthermore there are already really good models out on the net.
Can be seen in the intro.

The USS Enterprise E

This should be a nozjer very well known model. It wasn't modeled by us because this would've been to time consuming, furthermore there are already really good models out on the net.
Can be seen in the departure sequence.

The Federation Spacedock

The famous spacedock known from the startrek movies. This model is also from the internet.
Can be seen in the intro.

The BORG Cube

Also a well known model. Because it wasn't required high detailed it was very easy to model.

The BORG Battleship

This ship also known but not as much as the other ones.
Sometimes it is used as transwarp ship, sometimes as battleship. I decided for the latter because i wanted a ship that is larger than the cube for the trailer. It was also used in low detail with all detail made with the textures.

The BORG Diamond

Inspired by an image i saw at the old Scifi-Art site (but originally from www.startrekaustralia.com). I thought this would be a good difference to the Cubes and wanted to use it. If you look carefully at the last frames of the explosion sequence in the trailer you will recognize this ship.

Der BORG Monolith

A small borg ship (really; it's just 300 meters long). It should make the borg fleet in the trailer a bit more interesting.

Fleeing fleet ship: Type 1 (Type: Ariane-XXO)

Known? I think not. It is "borowed" from Stußwar's. A small ancient ship (to show that they are realy inferior to teh borg), that adds to the fleeing fleet. It also seems to be the one and only ship that survived the devastating attack of the borg (it can bee seen in the asteroid sequence in the trailer).

Fleeing fleet ship: Type 2

A small ship i found on the internet. I thought it would fit well into the small fleet.

Format: Moray MDL

Fleeing fleet ship: Type 3

Also a ship i found on the internet. Originally a small klingon freighter.

Small ship (Type: Ariane-00)

Also a small ship; also (relativly) well known from Stußwar's. Can be seen in the intro.

Federation ship (named USS Mankmill)

This ship has its first (really small) apperance in the intro. It can be seen flying towards the spacedock in some distance. It's strange mixture between already known Startrek designs.
